De Tierra Caliente CD Release Party, plus The Candy Shop Boys, and Papo Buda's Salsa Dura!
Our new CD "Nadie Es Profeta" has been printed and released in Colombia, and on April 3 we're celebrating with a red hot release party at the Clubhouse.
Ryan Tennis will give a short, sweet & warm welcome...
Then enjoy one of NYC's finest Jazz bands The Candy Shop Boys, directed by Bronson's cousin & 4-time ASCAP Award-winner Jesse Elder on piano. These guys are *awesome* NYC jazz veterans, performing an eclectic repertoire of jazz and blues from the 1920's, 30's, and 40's in the tradition of Fats Waller, Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington, as well as unique arrangements of rock classics from the 60's and 70's & some originals.
De Tierra Caliente: Latin, Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms fill the air with bright colors to inspire an irresistible North/South American party. The show that took us through Colombia in February has only gotten tighter.
Papo Buda and his Salsa Dura will keep the fire ablaze with traditional Puerto Rican Salsa and Latin Jazz (things got very spicy at our 2013 CD release).
¡Spread the word!
$20 gets you in, pays for all 3 bands AND gets you a free copy of the CD. Snacks and drinks of all kind are provided.
