Spring is around the corner, with longer hours of precious warm sunlight ready to thaw our joints & limbs. Such an event calls for a celebration! We are doing a dance-friendly event to kick off the Spring season, to celebrate the Equinox. In fact, scratch dance-friendly – more like, dance-mandatory. Join us as we get wild to the sound of Very Be Careful, the Los Angeles-based band known for rocking crowds into the late night hours. We are talking about rootsy Vallenato for the mind, body, & soul. LA Times called them “dispensers of irrepressible dance grooves”. Since 1997, the group successfully channels the sound and texture of early Colombian vallenato recordings, and always gets the party rocking. They’ve made fans of musicians & acts like The Kronos Quartet, and even the legendary Joe Strummer of The Clash. Guess what, Philly: it’s your turn.
