We are excited to announce PEC’s 11th Annual Lancaster Ave Jazz & Arts Festival, which will celebrate the “New Wave of Jazz”. Over 3,000 visitors joined us last year to celebrate “Women in Jazz”, the arts, family and community. The Producer’s Guild of Philadelphia has once again curated an ensemble of stellar performers highlighting acclaimed, emerging and the next generation of Philadelphia Jazz musicians 40 and under. Philadelphia’s own Jaleel Shaw on saxophone will be featured as our headliner. The lineup for the day will be the Universal Dance & Drum Ensemble courtesy of the Mann Center for Performing Arts, Josh Lawrence, Matthew Clayton, V.Shayne Franklin, Lee Mo, Nazir Ebo, and Phoenix Mystique. Enjoy vendors, food trucks, children’s village, resources and fun for the entire family. The event will take place at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center’s Saunders Park Greene located at 39th and Powelton Avenue from 12-7 pm. The rain date is scheduled for July 16, 2017.
