July 20, 2018 8:00-11:00PM Artist Bash: Historical Memory at The Barnes Foundation

Our fourth Artist Bash dives deep into our collective historical memory to bring you contemporary expressions of traditional art forms reflecting the melting pot that is America. 

Performances include:
- Spanish flamenco by La Éimi 
- Music by National Poetry Slam champion G Yamazawa 
- Traditional music and dance of Afro–Puerto Rican bomba and plena, featuring Los Bomberos De la Calle
- Capoeira by Project Capoeira- Ascab Philadelphia and Mestre Doutor. 
- Percussion, songs, and stories by Sistahs Laying Down Hands 
- DJ set by BIG AL 360.

This is a movable feast of artistic talent so come prepared to move!
