The 2018 season of Twilight in the Gardens is in full swing, and July’s event is keeping the momentum going in a big way! Paulette Branson & Mixed People is a funky, soul fusion band with hints of rock and world music, otherwise known as new age funk. The music is progressive, and the energy and emotion behind this band will get you dancing on your feet and singing along! Teaching Artist Caroline Oddo is a Philadelphia-based artist and musician. For this month’s activity, Oddo will get your imagination going with unique paper dolls. Create yourself, a friend, or someone who inspires you! Googly eyes, glitter, markers, stickers, beads, and more will help you dress up and give personality to your doll – or use popsicle sticks to turn it into a puppet! Visitors also have the chance to learn more about PMG through fun, casual mini-tours of the space and can check out the "Outsider Inspirations" exhibition in our galleries. All Twilights are a BYOBBS event (Bring Your Own Booze, Blanket, and Snacks), and guests are encouraged to relax and picnic in the space. |
