Please join us for the final Tracks at the Vale Concert of the summer on Saturday, August 3rd at the Vale, a pluricultural hideaway in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia!

Headlining will be world-renowned Cameroonian bass player/vocalist, Francis Mbappe, and his fantastic band. Mbappe has performed with Herbie Hancock, played with Fela Kuti at his compound in Nigeria, and was Manu Dibango’s music director for 8 years. His sound blends various West African music traditions with R&B, Funk, and Jazz. Bring your dancing shoes!
Ryan Tennis (your host) will open the night. His music is all about dismantling boundaries and bringing people together. Genre-defiant by nature and with diversity at its core, his rousing songs are infused with the rhythms from the many countries he’s visited during his extensive tours. While his performances are dynamic and danceable, Tennis’ voice and songs have a disarming sweetness that lowers your defenses and lets you breathe easy.
CLOVER & SUNDREAM mix sultry soul, sweet harmony, and bop-your-head grooves for a musical elixir that goes down smooth. Inspired by legends like Carole King and The Beatles alongside contemporaries like Maggie Rogers and Mac DeMarco, they have a timeless sound that weaves storytelling with catchy melodies.
