Cumbia with a Mexican Jarocho flavor, Guachinangos features artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. The band fuses Mexican son jarocho with Colombian cumbia and other Latin American rhythms. Their exciting instrumentation and electrifying stage energy invites anybody to enjoy, sing and move to the rhythm of the music.

The Oval pop-up festival returns to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway this July and runs for seven weekends. The family-friendly event features eight acres of food, drink, public art, games, and entertainment. The fun takes place at Eakins Oval, across from the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s famous steps. The 2024 Oval is co-organized by Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and the Parkway Council.
