Oishē is a local Philly band consisting of Scott Lowery on keys, Donovan Moore on guitar and vocals, Gregory James Wilson on drums, Mark Musial on bass, and Greg Seraphin on lead guitar. These five are building the foundation for a newfound groove-induced musical soundscape. Their songs overflow with tasty rhythms, jazz, and rock-influenced melodies overtop lush rhodes and organ chord progressions. Valentine spearheads a myriad of projects that encapsulate his genre-bending and collaborative sound. Devoted to upholding and honoring the Black-American musical tradition, Valentine’s projects are enlightened by the works of: Ella Fitzgerald; Jimi Hendrix; Nina Simone; Beyoncé; Charlie Parker; Bobby Mcferrin; and J.S.
