March 29, 2016 8:30-11:30 PM "The Next Generation Jazz Night" at Calabash

Tonight will be a particularly special night at Calabash Restaurant & Banquet, when we host our second annual "Next Generation Jazz Night" We will have around ten young performers featured between 8:30 and 9:45, (and the "old heads" til 11:30) including but not limited to:
Pianist Arielle Willis, age 8

Drummer Mekhi Boone, age 9
Trombonist Christian Kercy, age 13
French Hornist Nasir Redenburg, age 13
Trumpeter Jake Kawarski, age 14
Trumpeter Blaise Kesler, age 16
Vibraphonist Kelsey Bolden, age 17
These youngsters are all on the way to greatness and have displayed the utmost maturity and dedication for their ages on their instruments. Please come and help support them! The house band will include Mike Boone on bass, Frank Strauss on Key, sand Duck Scott on drumset, along with Chris Aschman on trumpet and steelpan.
