December 8, 2017 7:00PM TV Quintet - Philly Meets Harlem at CEC

Part of The Producers Guild 2nd Friday’s Jazz Concert Series on Lancaster Avenue Philadelphia Native/Drummer Tim Vaughan unites a dynamic Quintet of musicians together for what is sure to be an unforgettable night of music.

Playing the music of Wayne Shorter from his “Wayning Moments” album this unit will recreate a vibe that was first initiated in NYC when Tim Vaughan joined forces with trumpeter Satish Robertson and Saxophonist Stephen Hall for a performance at The Farafina club in Harlem for a birthday celebration in honor of (the late) New York music promoter Benjamin Urreta. This performance will be given in honor and dedication to Ben Ureeta as he particularly loved this album and was the catalyst for bringing these musical forces together.

Trumpet: Satish Robertson
Saxophone: Stephen Hall
Piano: Marcell Bellinger
Bass: Dr. Bert Harris
Drums: Tim Vaughan

$15 admission/ which includes light refreshments
