Peggy Leiby has played recorders in numerous early music ensembles over the years. She also plays for English country and contra dances on recorder and English concertina. She is an avid dancer, typically doing one or more dance activities daily. In 1996 she was a founding member of FiddleKicks, a clogging performance group doing Appalachian and other clogging styles. They began as a duo but soon became a six piece which now includes Mark Schreiber on drums; Bill Fergusson on mandolin; Mark Tucker on electric guitar and steel; and Mike Frank on bass. John Train has released six records to both national and international acclaim. The band has toured the world and elsewhere. Most recently, Jon performed solo in at the 2018 John Updike Society Conference in Belgrade, Serbia.
