On Saturday, September 20, the Parkway comes alive with music, movement, and celebration. Conceived by artist, musician, and producer Arto Lindsay, this free parade begins at LOVE Park, traces the Calder family’s landmarks, and concludes in Maja Park with a finale concert by the legendary Sun Ra Arkestra.
Featuring performances by Pig Iron Theatre Company, Almanac Dance Circus Theater, Mad Beatz Philly, and PHonk!, the parade highlights collaboration, creativity, and Philadelphia itself.

Free and open to all.The celebration continues September 21, the official opening of Calder Gardens. Parade attendees will receive a voucher for free admission, while supplies last.
