Join us for an afternoon of high-energy fusion of straight-ahead jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythm with Sofrito, a band led by pianist Luke Carlos O'Reilly and trumpeter Josh Lawrence. Formed in 2012, Sofrito blends the spontaneity of bebop with the driving pulse of Latin jazz, creating a sound that’s both rooted in tradition and uniquely their own.
Both O'Reilly and Lawrence are deeply connected to the Philly and New York jazz scenes and have spent over a decade shaping this project into a tight, vibrant ensemble. Don't miss it!
