Moroquito Avila
Moroquito Ávila has been in the music industry for over a decade as a percussionist. He began showing an interest in music from a very young age, as his father, Julio Ávila, is a musician of the Venezuelan gaita genre. Over the years, already a professional, he had the opportunity to play with Venezuelan groups such as Orquesta Sarao, Magia Caribeña, Orquesta Son 12, Orquesta los Satélites de Venezuela, Patatín Orquesta, Orquesta Yarabana, Los Gaiteros del Abusadorcito, Orquesta 8 Son Los Que Son, Los Panas de Venezuela, among others. Moroquito Ávila, who has played in Philadelphia with Orquesta del Barrio, among other groups and musicians such as Venezuelan Alex Moreno, has not only dedicated his career to interpreting, performing, producing, and making music, but also to replicating his learning with new talents.
