The acclaimed Tropical singer/songwriter makes his Philadelphia debut and performs an intimate show for 1 night only.
The album 'A La Mar' is the vibrant result of Vicente's three year journey through his homeland's geography, culture and many musical genres - bachata, reggae, pri-pri, gagá and more. Its lead single "Carmesi" broke into Spotify''s "Viral 50" chart in 6 countries around its release last year. The album, co-produced by Eduardo Cabra (Visitante Calle 13), has received 4 Latin GRAMMY nominations including "Album of the Year" and "Best New Artist." Additional nominations include "Best Singer-Songwriter Album" and "Best Tropical Song."
Vicente has already generated more than 150 million Youtube views with only two full-length albums in his catalog. He has toured the world with his mentor, the Dominican legend Juan Luis Guerra, as well as with Colombian icon Juanes. Next week, he will launch a U.S. northeast tour in support of Cafe Tacuba.
We are honored to join forces with Dominicans in the Delaware Valley as our Community Partner for this event.
