WE ARE THE DRUM is a hand drumming workshop taught on the West African djembe, (and jun-jun/bell for those interested) for beginning to "advancing" players, starting with the basics as given by Babatunde Olatunji and moving into West African and Afro Caribbean rhythms with the emphasis on pulse, flow and developing the awareness that as drummers, and musicians in general.
