Adenilson Jose Dos Santos, a.k.a. Mestre Doutor, is a Capoeira Master and a Berimbau craftsman. A native of Brazil, Adenilson has been a practitioner of Capoeira for 39 years and has devoted his life to the preservation and sharing of this Brazilian folk art.

DJ Erv Master has been DJing for the best Brazilian events around the nation for the last 18 years and he has been the official DJ of Brazilian Day New York for the past 15 years. With experience playing for over 1 million people at a time, DJ Erv Master always brings limitless energy and excitement to the event and gets everyone dancing.

Cleonice Fonseca, a Brazilian from Salvador - Bahia, began her career in the dance group of the Colégio Central de Bahia participating in projects and shows produced there. She learned her first African dance techniques, folk, religious dances (orixás) and African contemporary with renowned teachers such as Raimundo Tição, Raimundo King, Raimunda Sena, Tania Bishop, Nildinha Fonseca and José Ricardo Santos.

Caique Vidal and Batuque is a unique band that brings infectious energy and riveting dance grooves to the stage. “Batuque” (pronounced ba-TOO-kee) means to drum. The band delivers an explosive performance integrating the sounds of Afro-Brazilian percussion with keyboards, bass, guitar and horns to produce an innovative version of samba, reggae, salsa, bachata, pop, rock and Bossa Nova.

Marcus Santos and his network Grooversity:
A contemporary percussionist and educator, Marcus, is a native of Bahia, Brazil. He commits his life to the study, teaching and performance of his hometown's Afro-Brazilian music and heritage as well as World drumming diversity
Grooversity is an innovative and creative drumming network project envisioned by Brazilian percussionist Marcus Santos. Grooversity’s goal is to promote music as an educational resource, entertainment and as a catalyst for social change. Grooversity focuses on community outreach for a positive outcome while targeting global diversity awareness.
