September 30, 2017 2:00-3:30PM Samba Dance Workshop with Angelica Cassimiro

Learn from a qualified professional dancer and choreographer Angelica Cassimiro. These open level Samba dance workshops will get even the stiffest bodies into motion. You will learn and enhance your samba do pé ( basic samba step) and be introduced to many transitions and intricate choreographies (passo marcado) like the traditional Rio Samba solo style.

All genders are welcomed. No experience required, just an open mind and an eagerness to learn and above all to have a good time. Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind sweating in.

About the instructor:
Born and raised in Brazil, Angelica has been dancing since she could remember. She is classically trained and has a BFA in dance education from the University of the Arts. She has, and continues to tour professionally around the world. She continues to perform and provide workshops when not on tour. Angelica is as enthusiastic as a teacher as she is in performance. Come give Samba Dance a try, you won't regret it. Axe!
