•We'll be giving away some pan de muerto, bread of the dead. We went to a local Mexican bakery last night and tried some. Yumm!!

•An altar will be set up so everyone can bring a picture or a memory of any loved one that have passed on <<<<< Let us know if you're thinking of participating.

•Other visual work will be on display as well

Lastly Gregzinho( Greg Scruggs) and Juanderful Juan will be on the ones and twos playing some tunes to move la calaca on the dance floor.

South of the border, the day after Halloween is when the graveyard fun is just getting started. On November 1, Mexico is awash in a kaleidoscope of sugar candy skulls, papier-mâché skeletons, marigold bouquets, and candle-lit alters.

Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, is an annual celebration of those who have passed on, where a cemetery visit turns into a party, with tamales, pan muerto (a special dead man's pastry), and a few nips from the bottle of tequila that was left as an offering for the deceased.

Join TROPICALISMO MUNDIAL for a journey into the afterlife in the otherworldly confines of Underground Arts at The Black Box at Underground Arts as we celebrate Día de los Muertos for the living and dead alike. Our Tropicalavera sounds will prove that even the dead can dance.
