A resonating work of interdisciplinary performance inspired by the epic poem written by Dee Galloway and the enlightened research of Dr. Lourin Plant. Armed with African-American Narratives, Spirituals, and Poetry, this premier work of choreographer Paule Turner is a visceral testament of the transformative and transcendental powers of the African-American spiritual to bring us closer to humbly reconciling the truth of what we are, together.
