November 12, 2014 7:30-9:00 PM Afro-Brazilian Dance Class with Cleonice Fonseca at Wissahickon Dance Academy

Cleonice is a recent arrival to Philadelphia direct from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. She is a former member of the folkloric dance troupe of the SESC SENAC and a master Afro-Brazilian dancer.

Her class includes dances of the orixás, samba de roda, samba reggae and axé.

Live percussion with be provided by Dendê Macedo.
