November 16, 2014 7:00 PM Yemen Blues at The Painted Bride Art Center

Led by Yemenite Israeli-born vocalist-gimbri player Ravid Kahalani, Yemen Blues has been lauded by the New York Times and Time Out Chicago for it’s hybrid musical stylings and message of unity and togetherness. For the third year in a row, this international super group takes the Bride by storm with their fusion of American jazz, soul, funk, and eclectic folk music.
