This week: Arrastão do Dendê, formed by Afro-Brazilian percussionist Dendê from Bahia, has performed Afro-Brazilian rhythms on timbals, surdos, baqurinhas, trumpets and trombones extensively throughout Brazil, Asia, Europe and the US.
