Our first featured act is the Damn Tall Buildings. When I saw them last weekend at Philly folk fest and I immediately started scheming about how I could get them here. They're a four-piece country blue-grass group, and their rowdy, no-bullshit, get-right-down-to-the-fun kinda vibe is a perfect fit for the Clubouse!
De Tierra Caliente (my brother, Bronson's band) also delivered a slammin' set at Folk Fest. With their fusion of Latin, Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms, they never fail to get the North/South American dance party rolling. They'll close the night.
As usual, I'll start us off with members of the Clubhouse band. Snacks and drinks of all kinds are provided, and $15 at the door goes to pay the artists and help cover expenses.
