"An unexamined life is not worth living." - Socrates
In the interest of furthering humanity's dutiful pursuit of wisdom, it is time for us to candidly examine this life we live through all lenses, angles, and perspectives.
Today, we face an urgent need to amend our physical and spiritual diets. We will explore how this need can be met by a sincere effort towards being conscious of our participation in impulsivity-triggering activites like social media use, shopping, and food consumption.
Please join percussionist and folklorist Shakoor Sanders next Monday, March 13 at South Philly Barbacoa for the second edition of our March teach-in series 'Justice and Agua Fresca'.
There will be a solo performance (6pm), followed by a panel conversation featuring special guests Tamar Dart, Vimbai Dihwa, and Amanda DeLeo (6:30pm).
We will also have vegan food, and yes, agua fresca!
