| Conceptualized by composer and artistic director Lenny Seidman, ARC is an original evening length performance suite presented for one night only at Swarthmore College on October 5th. The project brings together the drumming traditions of tabla from North India and taiko from Japan, with contemporary Western, African Diasporic, and Southeast Asian dance. The cast consists of three tabla players directed by Lenny Seidman, three taiko players under the direction of Joe Small, and three choreographers/dancers, Laurel Jenkins, Ani Gavino and Orlando Hunter.
