This workshop is designed more so for for "beginners".Musical self-expression is a joyful and healthy means of communication available to absolutely everyone. There are no "unmusical" people, only those with no musical experience.
We will focus on basic FUNdamentals of making music, in a fun, playful, safe, non - judgmental, inspiring environment, surrounded by a unique collection of instruments from around the world. We will explore rhythms on ... drums, our bodies, found objects; creative vocalization, dynamics, silence, soloing, ensemble playing, listening, conducting and more. No prior musical experience is necessary! Any type of instrument is welcome. There are NO wrong notes! Percussion instruments and a keyboard will be on hand for use. Only bring your own instrument, if desired.
