In anticipation of the exhibition Berthe Morisot: Woman Impressionist, our fifth Artist Bash features fierce women performing work that speaks to the power of nurturing community, advocating for immigration reform, bringing a private journey into the public arena, and celebrating artistic improvisation.
Our lineup includes choreographer Annielille Kollman, drummer LaTreice Branson, performance artist Nikki Powerhouse, singer Vessna Scheff, and clothing designer Nicole Haddad. The program includes a dance performance by Cambodian American Girls Empowering (CAGE) and an acrobatic showcase by Tangle Movement Arts.
Bring your dancing shoes and head to the terrace to join the milonga—a social tango—led by Meredith Klein of the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School. The milonga takes place throughout the evening from 8 – 11pm.
This is a movable feast of artistic talent so be prepared to move!
