(Artwork will be on display & available for sale on the 2nd floor of the School District headquarters Sept 15th to October 15th in honor of Hispanic Heritage.) ★★Motivos youth magazine will be our SPECIAL GUEST for this event, launching their LATEST edition at the reception with the publisher, Jenee Chizick, and student authors of the articles onsite to give presentations about this phenomenal magazine and their inspriational work. ★★ Motivos magazine will also be hosting the well-known and AMAZINGLY TALENTED group from the Philadelphia area, Los Bomberos de la Calle. They are featured on the cover of the upcoming edition & will give a LIVE PERFORMANCE of their VIVACIOUS music which is SURE to get us all dancing & feeling the Latino culture & tradition through their dynamic sounds! Can you say BOMBA?!?!?!? Can you DANCE BOMBA?!??!??! Well, you'll certainly get the chance at this event!!! ★★ Light refreshments will be offered while guests network, view artwork, and listen to the lively music and presentations of the artists and authors. ★★PARKING - 2 parking lots at the school district on Broad St AFTER 4:30. Let the guard know you are there for the art exhibit. Once parking lots are full, there are metered spots on the streets. |
