Beatboxing flute meets spoken word poetry in this high-energy collaboration. PROJECT Trio writes original music as well as arrangements that blend classical, hip-hop, jazz, bluegrass and rock. LiveConnections has paired them with Philadelphia poet Jacob Winterstein to explore the connections between words and music. The concert defies musical labels, fusing original music, storytelling and just plain fun.

The Wall Street Journal has hailed the Trio for their “wide appeal, subversive humor and first-rate playing,” and The New York Times has called beatboxing flutist Greg Pattillo “the best in the world at what he does.”
