Born out of street jams in Rittenhouse Square in 2005, Trinidelphia came to life. Since then, the group has expanded to become Philly's preeminent Caribbean music ensemble. The name itself summarizes the mission of the band: to bring a unique Philadelphia twist to the steel drum music of Trinidad.
