ABOUT SOTOMAYOR
Sotomayor is the electronic music project with Latin American influence by siblings Raul and Paulina Sotomayor. It is a dance music project that uses rhythms like cumbia and peruvian "chicha" and fuses them with cutting edge beats. Their first LP is called "Salvaje" and it was published in March 2015 by the Mexican NetLabel "Tropic -All ", and the UK label "New Hispanic Music".

Despite the short life time of the project, the innovative sound of the band allowed them to debut in the 2015 edition of "Vive Latino", and in the 6th edition of "Festival Marvin”, and to travel to London (UK) and Bogota (Colombia) in less than a year of existence.

La Banda Elastica (Los Angeles, California), Mute Magazine (Argentina), Rolling Stone (México), Revista Marvin (México), Indie Rocks! (México) and RedBull Panamerika (LATAM) between others, they all choose “Salvaje” as one of the best albums from Hispanoamerica, and one of the 15 “unescapable” album of 2015. The album appeared in more than 25 lists of the best of the year from medias from all around the world including countries like Argentina, México, Costa Rica, Spain, USA and Chile.
